Service Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel their vehicle pickup request before the scheduled inspection or pickup time.


Cancellation is allowed in the following situations:

  • The vehicle pickup has not yet been completed
  • Inspection has not been finalized
  • Ownership verification has not been completed

To cancel a request, customers should contact the ScrapYourCar.in support team through phone, email, or website contact form.


Once a pickup is cancelled, the service request will be closed and no further action will be taken.


Cancellation After Vehicle Pickup

Once the vehicle has been physically collected by the ScrapYourCar.in team or its authorized partners, the transaction is considered completed and cancellation is not possible.


This is because the vehicle may already be processed for dismantling, recycling, or scrap evaluation immediately after pickup.


Refund Policy

ScrapYourCar.in typically pays customers for their vehicles rather than collecting payments from them. Therefore, standard refunds generally do not apply to the service.


However, refund or payment adjustments may be considered in the following cases:

  • Payment processing error
  • Duplicate payment made by mistake
  • Incorrect deduction or service charge
  • Transaction system error

In such cases, customers should contact the support team within 3 working days of the transaction for review and resolution.


If the issue is verified, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable processing period.


Payment Terms

The price offered for a scrap vehicle depends on several factors including:

  • Vehicle condition
  • Model and manufacturing year
  • Metal value and recyclable components
  • Location and logistics cost

The final price may be confirmed after physical inspection of the vehicle. Once the agreed amount is paid and the vehicle is handed over, the transaction is considered final.

  • Valid ID proof
  • Ownership details
  • Required transfer or scrap authorization forms

Incorrect or incomplete documentation may delay or cancel the service request.


After vehicle scrapping, the Registration Certificate cancellation process may be initiated as per applicable RTO rules.
